White Mountain Car Camp

Last weekend, Ron Chang organized a car camp at the Glacier View Campground in the White Mountains. Everyone who came, visited the Bristle Cone Grove that has the oldest living tree in the world, over 4,000 years old. They don't tell which tree it is but we know that we did see it.
The nest day three of us went to the peak, at 14,252, the third highest mountain in California and the 14th in the US. Even though it was just up a jeep road that winds to the top, it was a tough hike, mostly because of the altitude. Here is a link to the Wickipedia article on the White Mountain.
